The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter Caretaker committee announces Electoral Committee Members.
Arising from her maiden meeting since the constitution of the Caretaker committee, the committee in fulfillment of part of their mandate to ensure a smooth transition; appointed the following personalities to work with the Returning Officer in conducting election in the state.
An extract from the communique released after the meeting has the following individuals as members:
1. Onimisi Babangida – Chairman
2. Prince Orebiyi Emmanuel Taiwo
3. Usman Umar
4. Abdulrahman Idris
5. Samuel Kadiri- Secretary
6. Isah Emmanuel
7. Representative of Min. of Youths and Sports – Observer
The Caretaker Committee Chairman Comrade Isreal Alonge in the report charged the committee to work effectively with Amb. Oladele John Nihi leadership to quickly conclude the election process for a new executive for the council.
You would recall on the 16th June, 2021 the National Body of the Youth Council dissolved the executives of the Kogi State Chapter upon the expiration of their tenure on 27th May, 2021 and appointed Ten Man Committee Members to pilot the affairs and ensure a smooth transition in NYCN, Kogi State Chapter
