Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam today at it’s Secretariat Mosque in Lokoja organized a special prayer session for a peaceful Governorship election in November.
Speaking before the commencement of the session, the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello said the organization has made it a priority to pray for a hitch Free poll on November Eleven, 2023 adding that this has been the tradition in JNI.
Ambassador Bello used the occasion to call for prayers for Governor Yahaya Bello as he winds down after nearly Eight years of his impactful leadership in the state.
In a remark, the Imam of JNI Masjid, Sheikh Usman Tauheed urged Imams and Scholars to pray fervently for the success of the Gubernatorial election in the state.
The State Secretary of JNI, Alhaji Isa Adeboye in a vote of thanks appreciated the Imams and Scholars for honouring JNI’s call for prayers at all times stressing the need to sustain such virtue .
He used the occasion to call for the sustenance of prayers before, during and after the election.
