KOGI STATE JNI COMMISERATE WITH FLOOD VICTIMS


 

Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has expressed very deep sympathy with victims of flood disaster in the state.
The umbrella Islamic body in a press release jointly signed by it’s State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretay, Alhaji Isa Adeboye in Lokoja today, noted with sadness, the massive destruction of properties across the state and called on those residing close to River Banks to move to higher grounds.

 

 

 

The statement while appreciating the Government of Kogi State for it’s proactive measures called for immediate establishment of IDP camps to ensure the comfort and survival of victims who have nowhere to relocate to for now.
Kogi State JNI further called on organizations and public spirited individuals to donate generously for the upkeep of victims.
The organization through the statement thanked all those who have shown concern through provision of shelter and food items for the displaced and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
