KOGI STATE HEALTH INSURANCE AGENCY KICKS OFF VULNERABLE PERSONS BIOMETRIC ENROLLMENT FOR BELLO CARE IN KOGI STATE


 

Kogi State health insurance agency kicked off the biometric enrollment of the free Bello health care programme for the vulnerable persons in Okene and Adavi Local Government Areas today.

 

 

The Executive Secretary of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, Dr Adekunle Aledare at the take off of the enrollment at Okene and Adavi Local Government Areas said access to Quality Health Care services is the key mandate of the Agency in line with the New Direction Administration’s Directive
Dr Aledare also said the official flag-off and launch of access to care will be done by His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello to herald the commencement of access to care
The Executive Secretary further noted that the Bello care will go along way in reducing maternal and under five years mortalities, enhance unhindered acces to quality health care amongst the Target groups, reduce out of pocket spending on health and Provide financial risk protection amongst the target groups in the state.
Traditional rulers and a representative of each of the Local Government of the target group commended the kind gesture and magnanimity of his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello saying it is the first of its kind in the state.
Meanwhile the Executive Secretary also disclosed that the biometric enrollment of the vulnerable persons in all the Local Government Areas of the states will be carried out in the next three weeks by the staff of his agency.
