The Board and management staff of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency, wish to heartily congratulate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as he clocks fourty eight years.
Your Excellency sir, you have use your fruitful and youthful age to bring unprecedented development across the three Senatorial districts of the state.
Your midas touch in repositioning the health sector in the state is unparallel. In so short a time, you constructed the ultra-modern Reference Hospital Okene which is first of its kind in Africa and second globally. You have also remodelled Prince Abubakar Audu teaching hospital Anyigba, Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja, constructed modern hospitals at Gegu-Beki in Kogi Local Government Area and Eganyi in Ajaokuta Local Government Area. You have also remodelled the Zonal Hospitals in Isanlu and Idah. You are no doubt a health sector friendly governor.
Your Excellency sir, in your passion towards the less priveledge in accessing health care you established Kogi State Health Insurance Agency and funded it fully. You also initiated Bello-Care and you funded it with the Kogi State Equity Funds. Today over fourteen thousand vulnerable persons are receiving free healthcare services across the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state through the Bello-Care free healthcare plan in the state.
Your Excellency sir, your passion for the health of the good people of Kogi State is unquantifiable. You are a father indeed.
Your Excellency sir, Continue to excel in your political career even as we wish you more gracious years to continue to serve the people of Kogi State.
