The Board members of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency(KGSHIA) have paid a courtesy visit to the New Health Commissioner, Dr Zakari Usman where they felicitated with him on his new appointment.
The Chairman of the Board of the agency, Pharmacist Ariko Suberu who led the KGSHIA team in his remark thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello for appointing Dr Zakari as the Honourable commissioner for Health.
Pharmacist Suberu stated that the track records of Dr Zakari in assignments given to him in the past by the New Direction Administration has earned him this enviable position.
He also solicited for the support of the KGSHIA board from the new commissioner to ensure quality health care delivery in the State.
The Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr Usman Zakari in his remarks appreciated the board members for the courtesy visit and stated that the success of KGSHIA is also the success of the Minsitry of Health.
Highlights of the meeting was the presentation of a congratulatory Flex to the Commissioner . Present at the meeting were Pharm Ariko Suberu, board chairman, Dr Aledare Adekunle, Executive Secretary, Hon. Nana-Aisha Abu- Ali, Hon. Yusuf Yakubu Anderson, Hon. Abraham Jacob and Hon. Ismaila Abdullahi .
