The Kogi State Government through the Community and Social Development Agency has commissioned some community rural projects in Olamaboro Local Government Area today.
The highly Celebrated Projects were Commissioned By the Chairman of Olamaboro Council Area, Hon Nicodemus Friday Adejoh On behalf of the Governor of the State.
The General Manger of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Mallam Dauda Momoh lead the agency’s team to commission the Projects alongside the Council Chairman of Olamaboro LGA, Hon. Friday Adejo.
Projects commissioned today include: Community hall and Ventilated Pit Toilet (VIP Toilet) at Ogolale, Clinic and Block of Classrooms in Oganego in Imane district with Market and a Block of Class rooms in Emoriko in Ogugu district.
Speaking at the Commissioning, Mall. Momoh Dauda, GM KGCSDA said the completed projects are dividends of the partnerships the State Government and World Bank, said the agency will not relent in their efforts in making sure that social Amenities projects that will impact positively on the lives of people is actualized.
He assured that KGCSDA will not relent in the efforts to Provide Basic Amenities for Rural Communities.
He said the efforts to Provide social amenities and projects that will impact positively on the lives of the people especially in the rural areas will not be mortgaged.
The General Manager at the commissioning ceremony of blocks of market stores and class rooms for the people of Adubi Emoriko in Ogugu District of Olamaboro Local Government area of Kogi State praised their partnership.
He promised his Agency’s readiness to continue to work with communities across the state in providing basic amenities based on their own area of needs and priorities.
He appealled to the people to do their best in the proper. maintenance of the amenities in their domain assured of some other basic amenities like portable Water Supply and Roads Promising that the state governments through the agency will ensure that the amenities are provided in no distant time.
Earlier in his welcome address the Chairman of the Area Council, Hon Nicodemus Friday Adejoh expressed delight that the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has been given series of facelift to several communities in his local government area.
He said the intervention of CSDA would forever remain a source of Reference and Appreciation in the life of his people who are witnessing such government impact on their socioeconomic Life for the first time since the creation of the local government area.
He applauded the Administration of Governor for empowering the CSDA Agency to meeting the peoples needs.
At the Imani District of Olamaboro Local Government Area, the people came out in their hundreds with drums singing Songs of appreciation to Kogi State Government for Providing them a befitting Town Hall and Public Toilet at their ancestral Community of Ogolale, After several years of Neglect by Previous Administration in the State.
Also Speaking at the occasion an illustrious Son of the community and former Special Adviser on health to kogi State Governor, Dr Ahmed Attah said that the projects are of immense benefits to the people of the community who have been yawning and striving the two Amenities for many years until CSDA came to their rescue through the intervention in the education sector and their commercial Life with the provisions of the market stores.
A Leader of the Community in Imani, Mr David Awulu Who Expressed great Appreciation to the state Government for granting to them their own dividends of Democracy.
Similarly, the Royal Father of Imani communities, The Oda — Ojiji of Imani, said his joy is without limitation as the projects came to limelight during his time as Royal Father. Other Commissioned includes two blocks of class room at Ogenago, a health care centers at the same community.
