The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed has expressed felicitations to the people of Kogi East, and to the government of Kogi State, on the installation of His Royal Majesty Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, as the new Ata of Igalaland.
The Deputy Speaker in his congratulatory message made available on friday morning says the presentation of staff of office to the royal father is timely and of immense importance and also birth a new dawn to the Igala nation.
Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed describes HRM Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa as a prudent manager of people, an administrator, a disciplined and principled man who has discharge his duty successfully while in civil service. He noted that with his experience and guidance of our forefathers, kingmakers, council chiefs and other stakeholders, Igala land will reap in abundance socio-political and economic development.
“On behalf of the people of Ankpa 1 constituency, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Royal Majesty on the most auspicious occasion of Your Royal presentation of staff of office”.
I appeal to you to strongly put all machineries in place to uniting our people, all members of the ruling houses for the for the betterment and prosperity of our land. This comes with a huge task and may God Almighty and our forefathers grant you wisdom and guidance in the discharge of this responsibility.
