
Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, takes part in pivotal training programme for top state officials

Honourable Wemi Jones FCIB, Kogi State Commissioner for Education, recently participated in a three-day intensive training programme aimed at enhancing the development and infrastructure growth in alignment with the state’s 32-year development plan. The training, organized by the Kogi State Government in collaboration with Safegate Consulting Limited, brought together Honourable Commissioners, selected Director-Generals, and Heads of Agencies and Departments.
Themed “Promoting Development and Infrastructure Growth in Alignment with the 32-Year State Development Plan,” the training took place from Tuesday, 2nd December to Thursday, 4th December 2025, at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre in Asokoro, Abuja. The programme focused on equipping top-tier leadership with a comprehensive understanding of the state’s development plan, strategies for addressing infrastructure challenges, and the practical application of the updated National Chart of Accounts (NCOA). Hon Wemi Jones FCIB’s participation highlights the commitment of Kogi State officials to enhancing development and progress in the region.
