Message of Condolence.
The Kogi State Branch, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria solemnly joins the teeming millions of mourners in Lokoja and beyond to commiserate with the immediate family members of LATE ALHAJI ISMAILA ABDULKAREEM, THE DAN BURAM OF LOKOJA and a former INEC State Commissioner over his passing on today Wednesday, 12th Safar 1447H/6th July, 2025 at Abuja.
Council sends its heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmad Usman Ododo, Executive Governor of Kogi State, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi IV, the Maigari of Lokoja, Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council Title Holders, the INEC Family, Hon. Justice Abdul Aboki JSC (Rtd), Khalifah Hon. Justice Nurudeen Yusuf Abdullahi El-Lokojy and the entire Markaz Family (Shaikh Yusuf Abdullahi Family, Khalifah Hon. Justice Nurudeen Yusuf Abdullahi El-Lokojy, Principal, Management and Staff as well as the entire Markaz Students both old and present), Alhaji Ahmad Atimah, DG, Kogi State Emergency Management Agency and entire Atimah Family, Dr. Abubakar Yusuf Abdullahi, the Chief Imam of Sherif Aboki Memorial Mosque, Lokoja and its entire Ummah, the entire people of Esa Kaba Quarters of Lokoja, Prominent and Eminent Islamic Scholars in Lokoja and beyond, friends, colleagues, well-wishers and admirers as well as all others too numerous to be mentioned here over the painful but inevitable loss of our beloved brother, father, uncle and grand father, Dan Buram of Lokoja.
It prays Almighty ALLAH to Continue to Shower His Mercy upon him, Forgive all his shortcomings, Grant him Jannat Firdaus and Grant the entire Muslim Ummah in Kogi State, Lokoja and Nigeria, the fortitude to bear this painful but irreplaceable colossal community loss, ameen thumma ameen.
Council admonishes all the bereaved to take solace in the Divine Decision of Almighty ALLAH and continue to pray for the repose of his gentle soul in Jannat Firdaus.
It stands firmly with all the family members at this critical time of their grief.
Council will continue to remember him along with all other deceased Muslims in their prayers.
Again, we ask Almighty ALLAH to Keep him in the bliss of Jannat Firdaus, ameen thumma ameen, thanks.
