The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has praised Gov. Yahaya Bello for his role in ensuring that Kogi State is enlisted as Oil and Gas producing State.
The Commissioner made the disclosure following the state receipt of her first payment of 13 % derivation as Oil and Gas State.
The Commissioner assured that the Ministry of Solid Minerals and Natural resources will work round the click in ensuring that the proper exploration activities in the Oil and Gas location situated in kogi state is carried out.
According to the Commissioner, ” We are happy because our Governor will judiciously make use of the derivation from Oil and Gas in developing the State effectively.
He will positively impact the state for it to be well felt amongst committee of State in Nigeria, reason why GYB is a God sent to Kogi State People.
Kogi State is always creating positive history under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello”, assured of his unalloyed support for the realization of the objectives of the present administration.
