Appointment of INEC Chairman and Chief of Army Staff who are all indigenes of Kogi State.
In an advertorial placed in the Nation Newspaper of Sunday, November 9, Engr Bashiru, described President Tinubu as people centric Leader, who has helped stabilize Nigeria, with purposeful Leadership.
According to the advertorial which reads:
“Your Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR, the people centric Leader, who has helped stabilize Nigeria, with purposeful Leadership. It is without mincing words that, I, Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, wish to state that your unwavering commitment to the progress and development of our dear nation, Nigeria, has remained unrivalled in our nation’s history since your assumption as President and Commander in Chief.
Your Excellency, my joy knows no bound as one of your loyal follower, to state that your consistent display of unprecedented love for Kogi State in all ramifications has remained unequalled.
Your Excellency, it is with great pleasure and delight that I wish to use this medium to express my heartfelt appreciation over your public display of love, sense of belonging and in appreciating competence, as shown to the citizens of Nigeria, particularly we in Kogi State, with the two recent appointment you made, amidst the several others that you have made in time past.

Let me add that this singular opportunity provided to our sons to contribute their expertise, knowledge and experience to your “Renewed Hope” agenda, will be justified in all ramifications of credible election and improved security.
