The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has sent a message of congratulations to the newly constituted Board of Directors for Kogi Solid Minerals and Processing Company Limited.
Engr. Bashiru Gegu in a message of congratulations issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, described the quality of men with experience appointed into the Board as commendable.
While pointing out that with the Calibre of men appointed into the Board, the desired result as expected from the Solid Minerals Sector of the State would be achieved quickly.
Engr. Bashiru Gegu described the Board it’ as a Special Purpose Vehicle created by the Ministry of Solid Minerals as approved by Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo to help in the businesses and investment opportunities in the Solid Minerals Sector.
The Commissioner while congratulating them on the appointment, expressed confidence that they will deliver on their mandate in the overall interest of the State.
It will be recalled that Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo approved the appointment of Engr. Mohammed Lawal, as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kogi State Solid Minerals Processing Company Limited.
