Kogi Receives FG trucks of Rice Palliative

 

This evening, the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources Timothy Ojoma, State Coordinator, KSSIPA, Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade & State Emergency & Management Agency (SEMA), Honourable Muktar Atima received the first truck of rice out of the unprecedented number to be received from the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.

 

Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture while speaking through the Head of Media, Communications & ICT of KSSIPA, Dami Adenuga said in a time when communities faced unprecedented challenges, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture emerged as a beacon of hope, embodying resilience and compassion.

The State Coordinator, KSSIPA mentioned that up to 50 trucks of 25kg bags of rice are expected in the next few days, and all measures will be taken for proper dissemination across all 21 local governments of the state as instructed and designed by His Excellency, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. Alongside, as provided all state security for adequate protection of the palliative.
