Kogi PSJNC Chairman, Comrade Alemeru, Felicitates Gov Ododo’s Labour Adviser, Hon. Onuh Edoka, on Birthday

The Chairman of the Public Service Joint Negotiating Council (PSJNC) in Kogi State, Comrade Olusegun Alemeru, has congratulated the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Hon. Comrade Onuh Edoka, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as “a pillar among pillars” in the labour movement.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday in Lokoja, Comrade Alemeru extolled the sterling leadership qualities and unwavering commitment of Hon. Edoka to the welfare of workers, noting that his contributions to the labour movement have left an enduring legacy in Kogi State.
According to him, Hon. Edoka dedicated himself to the service of humanity, often placing the interests of workers above personal comfort and family considerations during his tenure as Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Kogi State. He noted that the former labour leader’s exceptional performance earned him the rare honour of serving a historic second term in office.
Comrade Alemeru stated that the celebration of Hon. Edoka’s birthday was well deserved, considering his remarkable achievements and selfless service to the labour movement and society at large.
“On behalf of the Public Service Joint Negotiating Council, I join countless well-wishers in celebrating our leader, mentor, pride and labour icon on this special occasion. This is a birthday worthy of celebration because it honours a man whose leadership, integrity and commitment continue to inspire generations of workers. His influence transcends ethnic, religious and political boundaries, making him a respected figure across all divides. Congratulations to our distinguished leader, the Onu Ogwu Oda Ojiji of Imane Kingdom,” Alemeru stated.
The PSJNC Chairman prayed for God’s continued protection, good health, greater wisdom and strength for Hon. Edoka as he continues to serve the state and the workforce in his current capacity.
He also urged the Kogi State Government to continue to recognise and celebrate individuals who have distinguished themselves through exemplary service, dedication and impactful leadership in their respective fields.
