The chemistry of leadership at the Olamabaro Local government Areas of kogi has brought succour and relief to the people,as the council chairman, Hon.Friday Nicodemus Adejo and his Deputy , Hon.Blessing Aisha Ekele kept the constituents spellbound with distribution of dividends of democracy in their hundred days in office.
As part of the activities marking 100days in office which took place at the headquarters of the council at Okpo recently , the council offered free medical treatment to the people, including empowering 15youth with motorcycles, besides confirming appointment of many into their cabinet to assist to ease development in the enclave.
The free medical outreach which cut across the three districts of the local government, Okpo, Imane and Ogugu witnessed Hon Friday visiting the three districts to ensure proper administration of the program; even as he assured that the program is not a flash show but will continue to operate at the various primary healthcare centres across the local government area.
Also, the council empowered 15 youth with motorcycles each for their outstanding performance in the last governorship election of 2019 in the state that brought governor Yahaya Bello and chief Edward onoja to power
While the council approved the appointment of some egg heads to assist in paddling the chip of the council to safety, to the benefit of the constituents, Hon. Adejo congratulated the beneficiaries of the free medical outreach and motorcycles; encouraging them to support their policy and continue their good works for the party to shine at the polls for more dividends of democracy to reach to the people.
Equally, Hon Adejoh enjoined the new appointees to be law abiding, focus on their duties and work according to the rules and regulations empowering their new position in the council.
The Olamabaro Council chairman therefore thanked Almighty God for the grace to have gone this far, appreciating governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, chief Edward Onoja for their trust and support so far in this direction.
Meanwhile, Her Royal Majesty, Hon. Blessing Aishat Ekele Magajia 1 of Ukeh kingdom in Nassarawa state, and the current vice Chairman of Olamaboro local government is being lauded by her constituents for bringing her wealth of her experience into bear with her amiable chairman, Hon.Adejo to lift the council to a new level of development.
In particular, the Vice chairman is being commended, among others, for her role in the National Directorate of Employment (NDE)where she was said to have assisted many of her constituents to secure employment; and her personal disposition which was alleged to have eased challenges of some of her constituents in the ongoing National Identification Numbers (NIN) registration policy which made it mandatory for a Nigerian to link up their National Identity Card number with cellphone numbers.
