Kogi PDP Releases List of 7 House of Representatives Candidates After Primaries
The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has announced the seven candidates who emerged victorious in the just-concluded House of Representatives primaries.
In a statement issued to journalists in Lokoja, State Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, said the successful aspirants will fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming House of Representatives elections.
The list of candidates is as follows:
1. Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasui – Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency
2. Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim – Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency
3. Hon. Muhammed Etudaiye – Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency
4. Hon. Mohammed Idris Lawal – Ajaokuta Federal Constituency
5. Hon. Okolo Ikani Benjamin – Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency
6. Hon. Femi Victor Olubiyo – Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency
7. Hon. Ibigbemi Sesan Samuel – Yagba Federal Constituency.
The list of successful candidates for Ankpa Federal Constituency as well as Idah Federal Constituency, according to the State is yet to be released.
The party said the primaries were conducted peacefully and urged all members to rally behind the flag bearers ahead of the general elections.
