The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has announced the final release of it remaining two House of Representative Candidates.
In a statement issued to Newsmen and signed by the PDP Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, on Tuesday, said the two names, add to the seven candidates, earlier released who emerged victorious in the just-concluded House of Representatives primaries.
The statement said the two remaining successful candidates, Hon. Paul Ukwenya will fly the party’s flag in the forthcoming House of Representatives election for Idah and Barr Abubakar Usman Yahaya for Ankpa Federal Constituency respectively.
The list of candidates is as follows:
1. Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasuiy – Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency
2. Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim – Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency
3. Hon. Muhammed Etudaiye – Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency
4. Hon. Mohammed Idris Lawal – Ajaokuta Federal Constituency
5. Hon. Okolo Ikani Benjamin – Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency
6. Hon. Femi Victor Olubiyo – Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency
7. Hon. Ibigbemi Sesan Samuel – Yagba Federal Constituency.
(8) Hon. Paul Ukwenya – Idah Federal Constituency
(9) Barr Abubakar Usman Yahaya- Ankpa Federal Constituency
The statement said party primaries were conducted peacefully and urged all members to rally behind the flag bearers ahead of the general elections.
