The PDP in Kogi state received the news of the death of the wife of the speaker of the state house of Assembly with rude shock, and pray that God Almighty will keep all she left behind.
“It’s sad, to hear of the untimely death of the wife of Mr. Kolawole Mathew, the Speaker of the House of Assembly in Kogi state, this is indeed a shock to us and we here sympathize with the Speaker, members of Kogi state House of Assembly and the state in general”, the statement reads as signed by Comrade Dayo Onibiyo, the Director of Media and Communications for the party.
We appeal to everyone to rededicate his or her life to good deeds and have the fear of God, as no one has power over death, reminding that, we shall al one day give account of our actions in life: as there is nothing we can do about death than to be praying for good age and health.
The party therefore, encourage the Speaker to be strong and to give all to God Almighty, the perfect author and finisher of our faith.
PDP prays that the good Lord will stop untimely deaths in the land.
