Kogi PDP Chairman Lauds Sen. Natasha, other elders, leaders in his inaugural speech.
Inaugural Speech Delivered by Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, Kogi State Chairman, People’s Democratic Party on 10th November, 2025.
Protocols.
Permit me to use this medium in returning the Glory to Almighty Allah for making today possible. Let me quickly add that what happened today is not my victory, but the collective victory of Kogi State PDP towards taking over Kogi State as we have done in time past.
I also will want to use this medium to send my appreciation to all our Leaders and Elders of the PDP at home and in the diaspora for their unflinching support for our Party, particularly in this trying period.
To the Judiciary, my esteem regards to you for once again proving to be the last hope of the common man.
My emergence as Chairman, is a victory for all and an indication that working collectively and looking ahead 2027, with renewed vigour and strength, we will not only take over Lugard House, but return to Aso Rock.
Let me again add that for the PDP as a Party. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Kogi State is a PDP State. We shall and I make bold to say that having overcome our challenges, we are taking over Kogi State.
My fellow committed party faithful, today is not a day for Long speeches. Before now, I have worked on a blueprint that will reposition our Party as the Party to beat in the State. In the coming days, through our collective mandate, our party will once again provide the needed succour as well as salvage our citizens from the pains of hardship and bad governance they are going through over the years.
As Chairman, I will always be in the front to confront challenges head on. I pledge my unalloyed commitment and steadfastness, with focus and determination in taking the Kogi State PDP to an enviable position.
It is without mincing words that I wish to state that Kogi State development stopped after the PDP era. But be rest assured that we are back and better. Our people will remain the core of our mandate when we form government after the 2027 election.
Let me disclosed that already, we have received commitment from all of our members who are on vacation from our Party. They have assured me that with my emergence, over 2000 of our members have already indicated there readiness to return to the Party.
Also, our party from the discussion we are making and engagement will within the next few days receive another 1409 defectors from the ruling APC as well as other political parties.
To my State Executive Members and other working committee members, Leaders and Elders of our Party, I seek your cooperation. I cannot do it alone. I will operate an open door policy. All ideas that will move our party forward will be welcome.
Let me use this medium to call on aggrieved members of our party to put behind the past, forgive and join hands with me in chatting a new way forward for our Party in the State. I beg each and every one of you to come let’s work together for the good of our party and Kogi State.
As I conclude my remarks. Let me pay glowing tribute to Alhaji Ibrahim Idrs, and Capt Idris Ichalla Wada for their steadfast support to the PDP even as I ask for more. To our hardworking and resourceful Senator, Natasha Akpoti Udaughan, thank you for making PDP proud. You’re a shining light and a beacon of hope for our Party.
Once again, I sincerely appreciate all the prayers and support from our Party members, other well wishers who during our struggle to seek justice, stood by me. I wish everyone a safe journey back to your destination as I and my team will hit the ground running in making Kogi PDP an envy in the State.
