By joshua Kogi PDP Chairman, Hon. Sanni Gambo Loses Younger Brother, Husseini Sheidi Maihankuri
The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Mohammed Sanni Gambo, is mourning the death of his younger brother, Alh. Husseini Sheidi Maihankuri of Adumbeku, Mozum Ward in Bassa Local Government Area.
Alh. Husseini, aged 46, passed away yesterday.
In a condolence message, leaders and members of the PDP across the state described the incident as painful and a great loss to the Gambo family, the people of Mozum Ward, and the PDP family in Bassa LGA.
The statement reads in part: “Death is inevitable and we submit to the will of Allah. Alh. Husseini was a brother, a son of the soil, and a member of our great party. His memory will be cherished.”
The party prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus, and give Hon. Sanni Gambo, the bereaved family, and the entire PDP in Bassa LGA the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un,”_ the statement concluded.
