Kogi PDP Chairman Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo Pledges ‘Doing Things Differently’, Visits DSS for Security Partnership
The newly‑affirmed Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has promised to chart a fresh course to restore the party to its “rightful position.”
During a courtesy visit to the Department of State Security (DSS) today, he emphasized his commitment to security collaboration with the DSS, Nigeria Police, Civil Defence, Army and other agencies to curb crime and ensure peace in Kogi State.
Hon. Gambo was sworn in following a Federal High Court ruling in Lokoja (Suit No. FRC/LKJ/CS/39/2024) that confirmed him as the legitimate PDP Chairman.
Since taking office, he has hit the ground running, meeting security heads and receiving a warm welcome at his inauguration.
“The security of Kogi is everybody’s business,” he said, pledging to reposition the PDP, foster unity, and deepen partnership with security outfits for safer communities and better service delivery.
