Kogi PDP Chairman, Hon. Muhammad Sanni Gambo Appeals For Members Return, Calls for Unity, Reconciliation
Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, the Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has made a heartfelt appeal to Members who left the party to return, emphasizing that they are the rightful owners of the Party.
In a statement issued Wednesday, urged them to come back and take ownership, rather than being tenants in other parties.
Gambo’s call comes after the Federal High Court in Lokoja delivered a judgment on November 10, 2025, affirming him as the PDP Chairman, thanked party leaders at National and State levels for their support and patriotism, praised the judiciary for upholding justice.
The chairman emphasized his commitment to ending crises and building the party, stating, “The era of monkey de work, baboon de chop in the PDP under my leadership is gone.”
He urged members to eschew bitterness and work together towards the party’s growth and development.
Gambo also highlighted the importance of justice, equity, and fairness, saying, “Where there is no Justice and fairness, no society and organization can thrive for growth and development.”
He promised that under his leadership, nobody will be above the law, and there will be no segregation or class divisions, vowing to reposition the party for victory in the 2027 elections.
He emphasized that Kogi is a “PDP State”, called for unity among members to win the 2027 elections, outlined plans to reposition the party for victory in the 2027 elections.
His major plans he explained is to restore the party’s dominance in Kogi State, describing it as a traditional PDP stronghold, appealed to aggrieved members to forgive past grievances, join him in rebuilding the party, promising an open-door administration and inclusivity.
He reiterated that he has developed a blueprint to transform the PDP into an unbeatable force in Kogi, focusing on unity and collective effort, promised to lead from the front, confront challenges head-on, welcome ideas and initiatives from Members.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of upholding justice and fairness, ensuring nobody is above the law, assured of transforming the PDP into an unbeatable force in Kogi. He promising an open-door policy, inclusivity, and relentless pursuit for peace, urged aggrieved members to forgive past grievances, join the rebuilding effort, and work to bring back defectors from other parties.
