Kogi NYCN Visits AEDC Management, Seeks Improved Power Supply To Residents


 

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter has interacted with the Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company with a view to seeking improving power supply to residents of the State.

 

The Chairman, NYCN, Kogi State Chapter, Comr. Ben Jerry led a delegation of the Council and they were received by Alhaji Danladi Baba, AEDC Regional Manager.

Comr. Jerry lamented the hardship faced by Nigerians, added that it will be more challenging if citizens of the State are made to experience power outage always.

” We are here to interact with the management. The poor power supply experience in Lokoja is unfortunate. The heat in Lokoja is something else at night. Financially, the hardship is unusual. We will expect that amidst all this challenges, we have light but that is not to be”, Comr. Jerry said.

Addressing and explaining the situation, the Regional Manager, Alhaji Danladi Baba, disclosed that the poor power supply is occasioned by drop in gas supply, described it as a problem beyond the State.

” We are sorry for the inconveniences the power outage is causing our customers. It is a problem that is beyond us. We plead for their understanding and patience”, the Regional Manager said.
