Kogi NYCN Suspend Kogi East Zonal Chairman and 2 others.
Arising from the meeting, the Executive suspended the 3 Executives of the NYCN on allegations bordering on factionalizing the state council with the impeached and expelled Usman Ogohi Samuel.
The trio who were alleged of violating Article 21.1 item 7 & 9 (Conduct likely to Cause Disaffection and Creates a Parallel Youth Council) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria’s Constitution.
A resolution of the Council also set up a 3 man investigation committee with the following individuals:
1. Eniola Olayemi
2. Mamood Muhammed
3. Muhammed Ozi
to look into the allegation and report back in 48hrs.
By this resolution, Comrade Ameh Okpanachi, Vice Chairman East; Comrade Olushola Abel, Director of Programmes and Abdullahi Isah, Organizing Secretary East stand suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.
