The Kogi State Nigerian Labour Congress has lost a great icon, Com. A D Ganiyu.
The State Chairman of Kogi NLC, Comr. Edoka in a statement described the loss as one too many for the labour movement.
According to the statem, “Com A.D Ganiyu was an attitude administrator and financial guru a highly intelligent labour leader. A man with many caps in the labour Front.
Comrade Gani as he was popularly called amidst his colleague’s, was a very strong negotiator and a voice to be respected during government and Labour conflict in the state (Kogi).
Baba Mukailar was a mentor to so many persons in the labour circle during his life time. His simplicity will be greatly missed and his free interactions during outings with his colleagues in the good old days was next to none.
Com Gani may God almighty grant you mercy. May the Angels welcome you to Heaven and may God grant you eternal life.
