The Nigeria Labour Congress, Kogi State Chapter, has sent a message of felicitations to Gov. Yahaya Bello, on the auspicious occasion of his seventh year anniversary, praised him for commemorating his seventh year anniversary with the commencement of the implementation of promotion for Kogi State workers.
The NLC in a statement signed by Comr. Onuh Edoka expressed appreciation with the commencement of the payment of promotion for workers in the State Civil Service, says the NLC looks forward to the continued payment as promised by Gov. Yahaya Bello.
Comr. Edoka in the Statement also praised Gov. Bello for his prompt and consistent payment of salaries of State workers, pointing out that the NLC is indeed very grateful to the Governor also for his gracious approval for the payment of the Federal Government duty tour allowance to the State workers.
While the NLC Chairman says the workers are indeed excited with the outstanding infrastructural development the administration of Gov Bello has achieved, appealed equally appealed for the payment of other welfare packages due to the workers, expressed optimism that the Governor will before the expiration of his tenure effect the full implementation of all the welfare packages due to the State workers like the payment of leave bonus.
Comr. Edoka lauded the legacy projects commissioned by President Mohammadu Buhari during his visit to the State recently, described the landmark achievements as a watershed in the State’s history, used the medium to solicit the support of Gov. Bello to the completion of the ongoing NLC House project.
While pointing out that the NLC House almost nearing completion by the Workers effort, expressed optimism that with the support of Gov. Bello, the project would be completed.
Comr. Edoka in the statement thanked the Kogi State Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Salami Ozigi Deedat, the Accountant General of the State, Alhaji Jibrin Momoh, the State Auditor General, Alhaji Yusuf Yakubu Okala and the Auditor General For Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for there effort and support working with Gov. Yahaya Bello in making the welfare of workers a reality, congratulated Gov Bello on his seventh year anniversary, wished him well even as remains resolutely resolved in meeting with the yearning and aspirations of Kogi State workers.
