In the recent World Bank four (4) day IMPLEMENTATION COMPLETION REPORT REVIEW MISSION/MARKET PLACE held at the International Convention Center, Awka, Anambra State the Kogi State NEWMAP received laud ovation.
The commendation was part of yesterday’s (April 12, 2022) activities, tagged a “MARKET PLACE” gala organized for NEWMAP participating States to showcase their SUCCESS STORIES, in relation to NEWMAP interventions in respective States.
Kogi NEWMAP, ably led by the Project Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto embellished Kogi NEWMAP’s stand with various success stories, depicting the positive impact of NEWMAP interventions in Kogi State, which would not have been possible without the unfettered support of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello.
Welcoming the World Bank team, led by the TTL, Dr. Joy Agene, said the Kogi NEWMAP stand out.
The Project Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto took the team on a tour of the SPMU’s success stories, as captured in DOCUMENTARIES, and PICTURE STORIES on display, assuring the Bank team that, everything on display were evidenced based, and could be verified!
Reacting to the remarkable display by the Kogi PMU, the Bank team asked questions bordering on work progress on Sites;
Responding, the Project Coordinator, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto assured the Bank team that, four sites have been completed and the only one left is about 90% completed. She assured the team that all ongoing Civil Works will be completed before the Project closure and will be sure ready for the next project ACReSAL.
The Bank team, was evidently pleased with the presentation of Kogi NEWMAP, admonished the PMU to keep up the good work.
