Kogi LG Poll: Water Resources Commissioner Hails Peaceful Process, Commends Electorate.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Water Resources, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk today exercised his civic right in today’s Local Government Election.
The Commissioner cast his vote by 11:00am at Yaragi Polling Unit 002, Ward D, Lokoja LGA of Kogi State.
The Commissioner praised the peaceful conduct of the people of Lokoja Local Government in the election process in his Ward and Local, thanked voters for turning our massively.
The Commissioner expressed his satisfaction with the peaceful nature of the election, stating that, “The election is peacefully and in an orderly manner,, devoid of violence” he said satisfactorily.
Engr. Farouk expressed optimism that the APC will win all the seats in Lokoja LGA, described the candidates paraded by the Party as acceptable by the people.
He described Comr. Abdullahi Adamu, the Party’s Chairmanship Candidate as one that has been tested and trusted, would emerge victorious at the polls.
