Kogi Lawyer Sues Investor Over Unpaid Professional Fees
A Kogi-based lawyer, Suleiman Abdulmalik, has dragged William Omojasola and his company, Bilvisco Investment Limited, to the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, Lokoja Division, over alleged non-payment of professional fees amounting to ₦164 million.
According to court documents, Abdulmalik performed professional services for Bilvisco Investment Limited, but the company has failed to settle the outstanding fees.
The lawyer has presented evidence, including pictures and signed documents, to support his claim.
The court has served the defendants with the complaint, and the case is expected to commence by the end of January 2026.
Attempts to reach the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Williams Omojasola, for comment were unsuccessful as he did not respond to calls.
