A Frontline Governorship aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party for next year’s gubernatorial election in Kogi State, in person of Dr. Bolufemi Rotimi has described Kogi State as for PDP, while PDP he explained is for Kogites.
The Guber aspirant today made the disclosure while addressing newsmen in Lokoja, the State Capital of Kogi State, says his optimism of a PDP overwhelming victory is occasion by the fact that the state is largely a PDP state.
The businessman cum politician stressed that Kogi is for PDP, while PDP is for Kogites, said despite being in the opposition, every one in the State can testify that the APC is not rooted in the State.
He explained that this assertion is evident in the years the opposition party has ruled the state in time past with so much to show for and people as structures, lamented that that cannot be said of the ruling APC with nothing to show and with no followership in the State.
He reinstated the need for the ruling party to desist from their campaign of clumny, pointing out that Nigerians have learnt the bitter lessons from their past propaganda and concocted lies used against the PDP in both 2015 and 2019 general election respectively.
He further expressed his optimism in the next year’s presidential and gubernatorial elections as the clock thickens toward 2023 that it would be an overwhelming sweep for the PDP.
Dr. Bolufemi described Alhaji Abubakar Atiku as the next president the country is waiting for, insisting that it is his time to take the country to the promise land.
He assured Nigerians not to be bothered nor be deterred in any form as the PDP he explained is not leaving any stone unturned to regain back power come 2023.
