Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen alias JOS who is the campaign Director General Of All Progressive Congress, APC, gubernatorial campaign council of Ododo/Oyibo in Yagba West Local Government, in the early hours of Thursday 19th, 2023, inaugurates members of the campaign council at the party secretariat in the local government.
Addressing members of the campaign council, Engr. Joseph appreciates the people of Yagba West for finding him worthy of the opportunity to serve as the campaign DG of APC Ododo/Joel gubernatorial council, promising that together with both the campaign members and every faithful of the party, Yagba West will deliver overwhelming for the victory of APC come November 11th.
The Executive Chairman of Yagba West, Hon. Pius Kolawole, who is chairman of the Security Directorate in the campaign council, assured the people of Yagba West of continuous and uncompromising security of lives and properties before, during and even after the election session, stressing that Yagba West is no hiding place for electoral violence of any sort. Hence, the maintaining peace and orderliness remains sacrosanct.
Just immediately after the inauguration, Hon. Dare Venza who came around to witness the occasion, made a financial support of N1Million Naira to the party. He further encouraged them to ensure that this election, APC victory from Yagba West should come in wide margin. He noted that APC has blessed Yagba West with a seating senator after so many years of agitation and clamour for “Yagba For Senate”. He maintained that Kogi West is closer to Lugard’s House through this wedding of convenience we are currently enjoying with the people of Kogi Central.
The Assembly member representing Yagba West State Constituency, Hon. Ibikunle Kuli was also present to grace the occasion. Kuli who praised Gov Yahaya Bello for his legacies in the state, stressed that he is fully in support of the continuity agenda of the APC, insisting that he will work tirelessly for the victory of the party in Yagba West.
