The All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate in the forthcoming Kogi Governorship election will make the issues of women and children a priority if elected.
Queen Susan Adejoh, CEO Queen Ojamalia (Every Child Is A Gem) Foundation gave the assurances while rallying support for the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo in Oko-Oyo, Akpanya Ward 1 Igalamela/Odolu LGA.
Towards ensuring that women and children get a better deal in the coming administration, Queen Susan, assured that the administration of Alhaji Ododo will not let them down.
Highlights of the efforts to rally support for the APC Governorship Candidate by Queen Susan was the distribution of wrappers, cash,Food items and other souvenirs to people of the Ward.
She went further saying ” I’m very optimistic that his victory will usher in more gains of democracy dividends for all Women and children can be rest assured that Ododo will open up a new frontier of development for the vulnerable if elected”.
Queen Susan charged the women not to sale their votes but follow a man who is a product of the system, pointing out that if elected, he will hit the ground running without having to learn the ropes.
” The APC Governorship Candidate has an antecedents of making women and children cardinal. I’m aware that he has empowered several women to start and support their business”.
” Recently he distributed science textbooks to all public secondary schools in the State. This is aside his support to building educational infrastructure”.
Queen Susan has over the years using the Foundation made the issues of women and children her priority. Aside regular empowerment program that she carries out, in the last couple of years, she has made the payment of school fees and support for vulnerable women and children, distribution of books, school bags her topmost priority.
The Foundation constantly visit and support orphanages, organises children from different schools during the children day celebration to get together, share books and uniforms for them.
She noted that the Party’s Candidate remain the best hand for the job and pledged her relentless support towards ensuring the success of Ododo/Oyibo in the coming election.
