The Chairman of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad has assures youths of Okene local government that the incoming government of Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo will give priority to youth development and adequate compensation to party members through various empowerment and human capital development.
The chairman was speaking over the weekend in Agassa, Okene local government at a gathering of youths to strategize and chat a common agenda for effective mobilization of voters especially youths and women for the forthcoming governorship election.
Hon. Abdulrazaq however cautioned Okene youths to shun violence in the course of the electioneering campaign. He said, Okene local government will adopt the usual style of peaceful campaign, house to house mobilization and delivery of overwhelming votes in all the polling units.
He assures the youths of his maximum support and security cover as they embark on ward to ward campaign across the eleven wards of the local government area.
