Frontline contender for Kogi APC’s gubernatorial ticket, Jibrin Momoh, arrived Abuja Continental Hotel in the aura of warm reception, accolades and ginger by supporters of the incoming number one man for the state with many describing his screening as a big step to sustaining the good legacies of Governor Yahaya Bello.
Momoh was also commended for his performance during the screening, adding that it is an evidence of him being a loyal GYB-breed.
Shortly after his screening, the frontline contender was spotted addressing his loyalists, where he urged them to remain committed to supporting the APC, and most importantly, the directives of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello. He also noted that all accolades should be channelled to the Governor for giving him the opportunity of contesting for the office.
Jibrin Momoh is expected to be cleared in a few days time, to slug it out during the party primaries after the screening committee must have reviewed and concluded their collations.
