Etsu of Bassa Nge District Retired Brigadier Abu Ali says he will follow the yearnings of his people in next month Governorship Election in the area.
Retired Brigadier General, Abu Ali stated this when the parmanent Secretary for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs and Chairman Local Government Service commission paid him visit in his palace at Gboloko Bassa Local Government Area.
The Etsu Bassa Nge District is one of revered traditional ruler in Bassa Local Government Area who’s Capacity and words remain his bound.
The pedigree of the monarch while in military distinguished him in the scheme of things in the state and the country at large.
Decisions of the monarch is people orientated especially quest for Government at all levels to providing basic amenities to People of his kingdom.
Speaking with the parmanent secretary and political Leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC) The Etsu Bassa Nge, Retired Brigadier Abu Ali said the quest of his people to the Governorship candidate is what he will abide.
According to Retired Brigadier General Abu Ali, the people of his district are grateful to the state government for the upgrading of traditional rulers in his district and other parts of the area.
He described Governor Yahaya Bello as a friend of the Bassa people and called on Governor Yahaya Bello to provide basic amenities to people of the Area.
The monarch thanked the deligation of the state government for the visit and promised to sustain peace in his domain.
Earlier, The Director General Campaign Governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress in the area for Alhaji Usman Ododo , Joel Oyibo,Alhaji Nda Muhammad,stressed that current situation of the Area will be giving serious attention and expressed confidence in the ability of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship candidate to provide infrastructure and human capital development to the people of the area.
Doctor Nda Muhammed stressed that the challenges of the area is from the area noting that the representative from the area has not been fair to the plight of their people.
According to him he is back home to partner with the council Chairman Bassa Local Government Area and stake holders of the land to deliver for the success of All Progressive Congress APC in next month Governorship Election.
Also speaking to the people of the area at the rally in Gboloko, The council Chairman of the area. Alhaji Mutari Shaibu Commended the people of the area for being steadfast with the All Progressive Congress APC Governorship candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo.
He told the gathering that he has Assembly men of capacity to work for the victory of Alhaji Usman Ododo in next month Governorship Election.
In her speech.The parmanet Secretary ministry of local Government and Chieftaincy affairs Hajia called on women in the area to vote Alhaji Usman Ododo as next Governor of Kogi State and praised the Royal father and stake holders of All Progressive Congress APC in the area for the gesture accorded her and members of her team.
She said the next Administration will favour more women in the state adding that the demography of women and Youths was large in the state.
In their separate speeches,The Chairman Local Government service commission,Treasurer of the area, Mr Steven Tukura, All Progressive Congress APC stake holder in the Area, Mr Bako Shigaba and the special adviser to the Governor on emergency Alhaji Muhammed Baba said Alhaji Usman Ododo is a Candidate of the people noting that the people of Bassa are prepared to vote for him massively.
The same programme was held at Oguma headquarters of Bassa Local Government Area with a pledge to deliver for All Progressive Congress APC Governorship Election candidate, Alhaji Usman Ododo.
