After my profound appreciation to Almighty God for His innumerable bounties on us all, which is also manifest in our being here today, may I humbly express the compliments of victory to you all, for and onbehalf of the members of Abdulrahim Abdulhakeem Imam Political Groups.
That you honoured our coming today interluding your tight schedules, even at short notice, is indeed indicative of your readiness to run an open minded government and to be the perfect version of our boss, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello. I hasten to add that Almighty God had already perfected your enthronement as the next governor of our dear state, the heavenly bodies are well informed of this obvious air of victory. I said this because I do not have the least doubt that you are going to make Kogi an enviable State for all.
Your Excellency, sir, me and my political groups have come to present a branded sienna bus to you as a part of our genuine contribution and continuous efforts towards having an overwhelming victory in this election. This concern stems from the fact that we strongly believe that all men should be recognized according to their values and contribution to the society and also, upon rebuilding this state, much so at times like this which requires harnessing all resources to support this course for the benefits of our state.
I must, however, convey the Abdulrahim Abdulhakeem Imam Political Groups’ high sense of responsibility never to give in to sentiments or capitulate in situation of the doubting Thomas, have therefore vowed, to continually be by your sides, mobilize our members home and in Abuja to massively vote for you for the betterment of Kogi State.
At this juncture, let me implore all Anebira, Kogi citizens in general to jettison unhealthy sentiments, and factors that seek to disunite us, and work assiduously for Alh. Usman Ododo because he is a man of proven credentials of communal responsibility and credible services to humanity and development. I plead to stop here, as I express my profound appreciation for honouring us and pray for the wisdom, strength and wherewithal to pilot the affairs of this state much more than people’s expectations.
Alh. Usman Ododo who was conspicuously smiling and happily received the car keys, said, “he was looking at the gift as a recipe for serious concern and participation for a government that will take care of all interests. A government that will build more legacy projects consolidating the visible spectrum of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello’s developmental administration. A government that will equally and evenly distributes positions and appointments with the interest of fairness and justice. A government that will prioritize the wellbeing of her civil servants, strengthening the existing enabling environment for business owners, and solidify the security architectural outfits of the state.
I am happy because I can see renewed commitments of the citizens towards having the Kogi State we can proudly call our own without prejudice. I am happy because different groups like the Abdulrahim Abdulhakeem Imam Political Groups have reckoned me as the best the state needs at this material time and working together now and after winning the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial elections God’s willing can be a fascinating experience for our state.
It is my prayer that Almighty God, who alone sees our inner most desires sustains His blessings on and protection over all of us beyond this period in view, that at the end, we may have the reason to glorified His grace and rejoice together”.
