Kogi Guber: Dr. Usman Ogbo strengthens APC chances as Women Development Association, Ankpa Expresses Commitment to Ododo’s project


 

Women Development Association (WDA) in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State have assured the Director, Planning and Research for Kogi APC Governorship Campaign Council Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman of their unalloyed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) in the forthcoming election.

 

They expressed their resolve to team up and work towards victory for APC during an interactive session with Dr. Usman on Friday 6th October, 2023 at the Women Domestic Centre, Ankpa Local Government of Kogi State.

The Leader of the Association, Hajiya Jummai Musa, ‘Iye–Oja Ankpa’ expressed the Association’s readiness and commitment to securing massive votes for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) in the November 11th governorship election.

“We are fully behind Dr. Usman and the candidacy of APC because we believe in Dr. Usman’s words, vision for the women and we know that he is supporting and projecting the most sellable candidate to lead Kogi into a new era of prosperity, we are now calling on other women in this area to join the movement that will cater more for women”, she averred.

Dr. Usman who expressed gratitude to the WDA for their endorsement for the Ododo’s candidacy promised to continue navigating his ways for the advancement of women’s empowerment when Alhaji Ododo assumed office adding that the significant of women in community development cannot be overemphasized.

He paid tribute to the founder of Women Development Association, Ankpa, Hajiya Salamatu Wada for her commitment and willingness to work for the betterment of her community noting that his grandmother was a pioneer member of the noble association.

Dr. Usman stated that Women Domestic Centre and Angwa’s community will be given priority before and after Alhaji Ododo’s victory.

He further affirmed that Alhaji Ododo represents sustainable and consolidated development of Kogi State, urged all the women to obtain and jealously guide their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) which he said is the only instrument to seal the impending victory of the APC in the November 11th election.

Dr Usman used the moments to itemize several projects and employment he has executed and facilitated to the area while assuring to do more when Alhaji Ododo assumes power by January, 2024 as he understands exactly the collective aspirations and yearnings of the people.

The events was graced by Alhaji isah Abdullahi Nato, Chairman RUWASA, party faithfuls and stalwarts.
