The Director General Women’s Effects Initiative International, Her Excellency,
Arewa (Dr) Abiola Abimbola Funmilayo has tasked women in Kogi State to come out enmass and vote in next Saturday’s Governorship election.
The Director General in a statement issued to Newsmen however urged the women to be careful and vigilant while at the polling booth.
While pointing out that women should embrace peace and unity during the election, she said the election should be about exercising civic and not violence.
” Knowing fully well that we are all kogites with or without election we are still together”.
“Voters should get accredited, cast their votes and go back home”.
“They should never ignite violence because everyone’s life is precious to us”.
