… Group vow to deliver resoundingly for APC/Ododo
The former Chief of Staff to Kogi State governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Moh’d Jamiu Asuku today played host to the G15 grassroot mobilizers for Kabba Ijumu federal constituency.
This meeting was set up to galvanize support for the flag bearer of the party, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who emerged as winner of the APC Gubernatorial primary in February 2023.
Pharm. Asuku urged them to look at the bigger picture and shun ethnic propaganda, reiterating that the contest is between political parties and not the various tribes within the state, as every tribe in Kogi has contributed to and is needed for the continued growth of the state. He pointed out that knowledge of this, is why Governor Yahaya Bello has not only always preached togetherness and peaceful coexistence across-the-board but also urged his followers to do and emulate the same.
Pharm Jamiu pledged his belief in the capacity of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, to not only win the forth coming election but also, to consolidate on the gains and achievements of the New Direction Administration set up by His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
While responding, the leader of the delegation, Hon. Folorunsho Braimoh thanked Pharm. Asuku for his exemplary leadership style and unwavering loyalty to his leader, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. He commended him for the energy and support he’s shown for the candidature of the party’s flag bearer, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He further pledged the groups allegiance to the party and promised to deliver resoundingly for the APC and it’s candidate come November 2023.
