The Kogi State Government has commenced the conduct of internal Examinations in the state starting with Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) from Wednesday 4th August – Thursday 12th August 2021.
The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is scheduled for Saturday 7th August 2021 and Basic Six School Leaving Certificate Saturday 14th August 2021 respectively.
The State Commissioner, Hon. Wemi Jones had earlier today addressed the Director Exams, Staff of the department, supervisors and the examiners at the ministry of education headquarters before going out to their various centers urged them not to comprise.
He asked them to shun examination malpractices as Government will not take it easy with anyone found guilty of such, insisting that Gov Yahaya Bello is committed to quality education in the State.
In a remarks, the Director Examination and Certificate, Mr Dipo Ayenibe, assured that all hands would be put on deck
towards ensuring standard in the examination.
