The Kogi entrepreneurs and artisans are in joyous mood all over the state as the news of planned operational tools empowerment and working incentives by the Governor Ododo led administration filters into the air.
This and many more are the unprecedented entrepreneurship empowerment and artisans development approval that emanated from the first ever Kogi Governor and Kogi artisans and entrepreneurs interface and Roundtable that took place at the government house on Saturday 13th June 2026.
A very economically and security beneficial meeting it turned out to be, as facilitated by the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Energy Matters and Chairman of Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor, Hon Olabode Adeyemi solely for reason of bringing lasting collaboration and economical viable government-professionals relations.
At the meeting, the Governor, Alh Usman Ododo announce the empowerment of all registered entrepreneurs across all organized trade with operational tools and working incentives that would revolutionize and empower the sector for better performances. immediate establishment of a Mechanic Village to allow for a coordinated and technologically improved Automobile business and entrepreneurship in the state and Provision of logistics supports for all artisans operations and daily activities.
While setting the meeting open for discussions, the Chairman, Forum of Special Advisers to the Governor, Hon Olabode Adeyemi describe the assembly as an unprecedented gathering of entrepreneurs that form the fulcrum of business narve of the state and the government that holds responsibility of ensuring enabling environment for peace and development of the state. He thanked the Governor for his unprecedented drive for development, deliberate policy of drive government closer to the people and avowed agenda for shared prosperity of all Kogites.
Various speakers ranging from Presidents of National Automobile Association of Nigeria, Nigeria Woodwork, Carpenters and Furniture Association of Nigeria, and Market Women Association all praised the Governor for delivering good governance and promising to vote him again. They commended his giant strides in Education, Air transportation, Health, job creation and security..
Other associations present at the Roundtable are, Tailors Association of Nigeria, National Union of Road Transport Workers, Hairdressers Association of Nigeria, Aluminum Works Practitioners Association and several others.
The government of Kogi state would be leading in deliberate provision of strategic partnership for artisans and entrepreneurship development which experts have said the the surest pathway to ending or reducing insecurity to its barest minimum.
