Kogi State Former Deputy Governor, Elder Simon Achuba, has condoled with the family of Hon. Kokori over the death of their son, Hon. Suleiman Abdul Kokori.
Late Hon. Kokori, a former member of the House of Representatives, was serving as the Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilization, Allocation & Fiscal Commission before his death.
The former Deputy Governor, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester described the death of a man he called “a good friend” as shocking and huge loss to the family, state and the country.
He said the late Hon. Kokori contributed his quota to the development of the state both as a lawmaker and as a representative of the state at the Revenue commission at the federal level.
The former Deputy Gov urged the immediate family to see his death as an act of God while praying for the children to emulate the good deeds of their father.
He further urged the entire Okene/Ogori – Magongo Federal constituency not to be discouraged by the death of their son but to be more focused in their service to the people. .
The former Deputy Governor prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
