
Kogi Finance Commissioner flags off MAAI4ODODO Women in Business Support Grant

Supporter and well-wishers of Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA under the auspices of Asiwaju koto boys from kotokarfe LGA, along with their spouses pay sallah homage in his lokoja home.
In what is supposed to be an atmosphere of greetings, celebration, and merriment to commemorate the season, it turned to be a gathering of empowerment for their wives tagged MAAI4ODODO Women in Business grant.
MAAI4ODODO women in business grants is a programme designed and powered by Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA, to provide grants for women with the goal of enhancing their businesses, promote self reliance and foster economic growth within their communities.
The progressive initiative was flagged off, and the women who were eleven(11) in number received the sum of N150,000 each and the only unmarried person got 100k, which summed up to a total of N1,750,000, for them to positively cushion their various businesses.
Mukadam advised them to be prudent and ensure the fund is judiciously used to add value to their enterprise, saying it will help to support the family and scale the biting economic realities.
Asiwaju said this initiative is in perfect alignment with the manifesto and plans of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo,FCA to empower small&medium scale businesses and strengthen the cord of entrepreneurship amongst youths and women alike in the state. The aim is to carry everyone along by ensuring economic growth and improved well-being go concurrently.
They were extremely grateful for the gesture, with a promise to judiciously utilise the grant and to remain loyal to his leadership style, which they said is progressive, humane, and people oriented.
