
KOGI ENVIRONMENT COMMISSIONER SENDS NEW‑YEAR GREETINGS TO GOVERNOR ODODO & CITIZENS

In a heartfelt statement marking the arrival of 2026, Engr Joseph Oluwasegun, Kogi State Commissioner for Environment and Ecological Management, extended warm New Year felicitations to the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians.
On behalf of the management and staff of the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management, the commissioner praised Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and his administration for the milestones achieved in 2025, noting that despite the year’s “significant challenges and defining moments,” divine guidance and protection have led to notable successes.
Looking ahead, Engr Oluwasegun called for continued unity, peace, and collective commitment to the state’s prosperity, urging all to “remain steadefast in our commitment to unity, peace, and the collective prosperity of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.” He added that the ministry is “positioned for greater service delivery in 2026.”
He concluded with a prayer for wisdom, strength, and resources to turn the new year into one of “outstanding achievements, progress, and fulfillment,” wishing everyone a healthy, prosperous, and impactful 2026.
