The Kogi State Commissioner of Environment, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye today celebrated his 50th birthday with Orphans at the Margret Ohiani Orphanage, Zariagi and Ministry of Mercy Orphanage near FUL permanent site.
Chief Omofaiye who was excited to celebrate his Golden Jubilee with the Orphans, expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to attain 50 years.
The Commissioner described orphans as special people in the society, saying that he decided to celebrate his birthday with Orphans based on his passion to put smiles on their faces.
At the Ministry of Mercy Orphanage, Chief Omofaiye promised to do his best to ensure regular cleaning of the Home to provide a healthy environment for the children.
He expressed appreciation to the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the confidence reposed in him, assuring of his unalloyed support and loyalty to the Governor at all times.
The Commissioner who was accompanied by his wife, Olori Modupe Omofaiye and well wishers, described Governor Bello as a detribalized Leader needed for a united Nigeria.
He urged Nigerians to support the Aspiration of Kogi State Governor who according to him has the capacity to end the disunity, insecurity and economic hardship facing the country.
The Head of Ministry of Mercy Orphanage, Mr. Monday Halidu who was represented by Miss Rose Agile Dansuma congratulated the Commissioner on his Golden Jubilee and thanked him for the donation and prayed God to reward him.
The Orphans also took time to shower prays on the Commissioner.
Items distributed to the orphanages include; Cartons of noddles and spaghetti, bags of rice, vegetable oil and bags of salt
