Kogi Education Commissioner Says Gov. Bello Approves Take Off Grant For KSU Kabba … As Ododo Attends New Yam Festival Celebration of Aiyetoro Kiri


 

 

The Kogi State Governor has given approval for the take off grant running into millions of naira for the Kogi State University, Kabba.

 

The Kogi State Commissioner For Education Science and Technology Hon. Wemi Jones made the disclosure today when he represented the All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for the November governorship election Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman at the New Yam Festival Celebration of Aiyetoro Kiri in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

The Yam Festival of the Aiyetoro Kiri people in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area is a festive occasion where by new yam tuber is harvested, eaten and celebrated by Kiri People every 15th July.

The Commissioner disclosed that the grant approved by Gov. Bello is for the construction and renovation work at the Kogi State University, expressed optimism that the first set of students would be matriculated by the next academic session.

The APC Flagbearer expressed commitment to adopt Kiri community as his community, solicited a hundred percent support of the Kiri Community to the November governorship election.

The APC Flagbearer congratulated the people of Okunland and Kabba in particular for the establishment of the University, assured of his unweivering commitment to development of the State if elected.
