KOGI EDUCATION COMMISSIONER LED SPIU ON STUDY TOUR TO KADUNA STATE AGILE PROJECT OFFICE

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science
and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB led other members of AGILE Kogi State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU) on a visit to Kaduna State to under study the AGILE

The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) was recently approved for the State and there is a need to commence its activities
immediately to enable the State benefit from the enormous opportunities available under the programme.

To achieve a smooth take off of the programme in the State, there is a need to under study one of the States where the project is currently operating, hence Kaduna State has been selected for this purpose. Indeed, the National Project
Office of AGILE has strongly recommended Kaduna State to us for the visit, for being one of the States that has made very remarkable progress in the programme having commenced the programme for about four years now.
