It was a wild jubilation and Celebration as the Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones hosted youths, Tiv community and political associates yesterday in Ayede Bunu, Kabba/Bunu LGA.
The Commissioner told the gathering that the get together which was tagged “Christmas Eve with Wemi Jones” is to foster harmony, togetherness, peace, unity and to further strengthen bound of Unity among the people, stated that, that was the instruments using in the time past, said it needs to be brought back to the society again
The Commissioner urged the people to maintain peace and harmony among themselves stated that it is only when they are together that they can leave in peace and achieve the best
The Commissioner assured the good people of kabba/Bunu LGA of His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s commitment to education, security and more infrastructural development says that Gov Bello has done so much for the people of the axis
Speaking at the event, was Commander Navy Jery Omodara rtd) hailed the commissioner for his good work as the commissioner for Education stated that the people are proud of him and also commended him for hosting people in order to foster unity among the people
The Coordinator tiv community appreciated the Honorable commissioner for his good work and giving them sense of belonging in all areas says that he is the best among others and they are ready to support him all the times
Part of the event activities was the presentations of the award of excellence to the Commissioner for Education for his good work
