KOGI EAST ROYAL FATHERS ENDORSE AND BLESS KOGI INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL

Royal fathers from the Eastern senatorial district of Kogi state have thrown their weight behind the Kogi international carnival billed to hold in the state from the 1st to the 7th of December 2024.
The royal fathers praised the organiser & Members of the central working committee (Kogi East zone) for the Kogi International carnival who paid courtesy visits to the traditional rulers in their palaces in Kogi East Senatorial District to seek their royal blessings and support for the upcoming carnival.
The committee visited the palaces of the Achadu in Idah, the Ogohi in Ayingba & the Eje of Dekina.
Other Kogi East Royal fathers visited by the committee are the Ohiogba Mozun, the Ejeh Ankpa and the Ejeh Ofu.
The traditional rulers welcomed the committee and offered their full support for the carnival, which aims to promote the rich cultural heritage of Kogi State.
“We are proud of our culture and traditions & will do everything possible to ensure the success of this carnival.” Was the general message from all the royal fathers.
The committee after presenting kolanuts for blessings thanked the traditional fathers for their prayers and assured them that the carnival will be a showcase of the best of Kogi State’s culture, music, and arts.
The committee members have since returned to Lokoja preparatory to the carnival.
